                                                               SATURDAY      9.00am   -   12.30pm

                                                               SATURDAY      1.30pm   -     5.30pm

                                                                    SUNDAY      9.00am   -   12.30pm

INFORMATION

 

       1.   Length of pool 25 metres.

 

       2.   All starts will be by pistol or klaxon.

 

       3.   A false start will be signified by a second pistol shot or klaxon

            and a recall rope will be lowered.

 

       4.   Eight lanes will be used for the heats and the fastest swimmers

            will compete in the finals.

 

       5.   The decision of the judges and the referee will, in all cases,

            be final.

 

       6.   At the end of each heat or final, competitors must remain in their

            lanes until given signal to leave the water.

 

       7.   As per programme medal presentations will take place following

            the announcement of event results.

 

       8.   The entry card system will be used.  Competitors please note:

            All cards for the events in which you intend to swim at each session

            must be in the entry box 30 minutes before commencement of the

            session.  You are not considered to be in the event until your card

            has been placed in the entry box.  The entry box will be situated

            in the foyer of the pool.

 

       9.   TEAM MANAGERS & COMPETITORS please note:  To reduce the overall

            time of each gala session, when numbers permit, swimming groups/

            sexes have been combined.  These will be separate races running

            along side each other and separate results will be announced.

 

     10.   Any queries relating to the competition must be directed

            initially to Pat Bennett who will be situated no the poolside

            throughout the gala.
